Which CSWIP are you sitting?

CSWIP 3.1u Inspection Diver
Entry level. Offshore structures, structural loading, corrosion science and protection, monitoring, welding and weld defects, NDT basics.
This is where most divers start, and it is the level I sell most. Learn it properly the first time and the exam takes care of itself.

CSWIP 3.2u Inspection Diver
Advanced NDT. Ultrasonic flaw detection, A-scan calibration and interpretation, MPI theory and technique, surface preparation, weld toe grinding, QC.
The 3.2u exam still tests 3.1u knowledge, so both 3.2u bundles carry the 3.1u courses as well. A recert diver and a first-timer both get the full package.

CSWIP 3.4u Inspection Controller
Management level. Inspection planning, QA and QC systems, data recording and reporting, scheduling, ALARP, anomaly based reporting, diver versus ROV decisions, work pack preparation, structured written answers.
3.4u is 3.1u and 3.2u knowledge applied at controller level and written up for marks. The prep adds the Long Questions practice that the written exam turns on, and the Complete Study System adds the Isometric Drawing course too.
A 3.4u recert covers fewer sections, but the same core theory applies. The existing 3.4u prep serves the refresher.

Which level do I need?
3.1u is entry level Inspection Diver. 3.2u is the advanced NDT Inspection Diver level. 3.4u is the Inspection Controller, the management level. Use the level picker above to see the prep for each.
Do I have to buy the whole study system?
No. The Exam Bundle is Q&A plus Flashcards for drilling when you already know the material. The Complete Study System adds Theory for when you want to learn it first. Start wherever you are. You can also buy the 3.1u or 3.2u Interactive Theory course or the Flashcard Trainer on their own.
I am refreshing an expired ticket. Is this for me?
Yes. CSWIP certification is re-examined every 5 years. Refreshers and first-timers buy the same prep, because the theory is the same. It polishes the knowledge you already have and points it at the exam.
Is the content current for the CSWIP exam?
Every question comes from the actual syllabus, and every lesson is built around how the exam is marked. I flag the common mistakes and show exactly where candidates lose points.
