See it, name it, classify it
Weld defects are a picture question. The exam shows you a defect and expects the right name and the right class, on sight. Reading a list of names does not build that.
Every quiz here puts the picture in front of you first. You answer, then you see the correct name, the class and the reason. Wrong answers explain themselves, so the second run is better than the first.
What divers say
The content is well-structured, practical, and highly relevant to real-world welding inspection and quality control activities. The clear explanations of defects and correct use of terminology make it especially valuable for welding inspectors, QA/QC professionals...

Built by a diver, for divers
I am Sean Fraenkel. I have 25 years offshore as an air and saturation diver, and I hold CSWIP 3.4u and 3.2u.
I built NDTPrep because I have sat these exams myself, and I know how divers usually prepare. A rotation or two before the exam, out comes the thick notebook, the highlighters and every old exam paper you can get your hands on, often memorising answers without knowing whether they are even correct.
NDTPrep gives you the theory, explains what you actually need to understand, and then lets you test yourself with structured questions and practice. You are learning the subject, not memorising somebody else's old answers.
