How I handle your information
NDTPrep.com is run by Sean Fraenkel, a sole proprietor trading as NDTPrep, based in South Africa. I am the sole owner and operator of this site.

I never see your card details. Payments are handled by my payment provider. Your card number never reaches NDTPrep and is never stored by me.
I do not sell your information. I do not trade it. I share it only with the services needed to run NDTPrep, and only as far as they need it.

Each of these has its own privacy policy. They are only permitted to use your information to provide their service to NDTPrep.
NDTPrep uses cookies and similar technology for three things:
- To keep you signed in and remember your place in a course
- To measure which pages are used, through Microsoft Clarity
- To keep the site secure
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the essential ones, signing in and saving your progress will stop working.
I keep your student account and course progress for as long as your account exists, so you can come back to it. Purchase and billing records are kept for as long as the law requires.
If you ask me to delete your account, I will delete it, apart from any record I am legally required to keep.
Wherever you are in the world, you can ask me to:
- Tell you what information I hold about you
- Correct anything that is wrong
- Delete your account and your personal information
- Stop sending you marketing email
- Send you a copy of your information
Email support@ndtprep.com and I will action it. I aim to reply within 5 working days and to complete the request within 30 days.
Every marketing email also carries an unsubscribe link at the bottom. One click and you are off the list. Unsubscribing does not remove your course access.
NDTPrep is based in South Africa and follows the Protection of Personal Information Act, known as POPIA.
Divers buy these courses from all over the world. If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Union, I also honour the rights the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR give you. Those are the same rights listed above.
If you believe I have not handled your information properly, you can complain to the South African Information Regulator at inforegulator.org.za. I would rather you told me first, so I get the chance to put it right.
Your account sits behind the security of the platforms listed above, which use encryption in transit and at rest. No system online is perfect, so if something goes wrong that affects your information, I will tell you.
NDTPrep is professional training for working commercial divers. It is not intended for anyone under 18, and I do not knowingly collect information from children.
NDTPrep uses services based in several countries, so your information may be stored or processed outside the country you live in. The services listed above are bound to protect it to the standard described in this policy.
If I change this policy I will update the date at the top of this page. If the change is significant, I will also tell existing students by email.
