You cannot pass by recognising answers
Reading the manual once feels like progress. Offshore, it fills the downtime and ticks a box. But recognising a line on the page is not the same as knowing it.
The exam wants recall under pressure. Take the topic in, pull it back out with no book in front of you, and still have it weeks later. That is what these questions train.
- Commit before you peek. Make a call, then read the explanation. That is exam conditions.
- Read every explanation. Even when you are right. The why is what travels on exam day.
- Then drill the gaps. The questions show you which flashcards actually matter.

The Speed Drill
Twenty questions, the whole syllabus, on the clock.
Every run pulls twenty fresh questions at random from the full bank, so no two drills are the same. You get 45 seconds a question. Time up locks it as wrong. That is deliberate. On exam day you do not get to sit and think about it.
Explanations wait until the review, so you keep the pace. At the end you get your score, your personal best and your last five runs, so you can see yourself getting faster.
Run one a day. It covers the whole syllabus and shows you what is still slow under pressure.
Built by a diver, for divers
I am Sean Fraenkel. I have 25 years offshore as an air and saturation diver, and I hold CSWIP 3.4u and 3.2u.
I built NDTPrep because I have sat these exams myself, and I know how divers usually prepare. A rotation or two before the exam, out comes the thick notebook, the highlighters and every old exam paper you can get your hands on, often memorising answers without knowing whether they are even correct.
NDTPrep gives you the theory, explains what you actually need to understand, and then lets you test yourself with structured questions and practice. You are learning the subject, not memorising somebody else's old answers.
Questions divers ask me
Do I need the Interactive Theory course as well?
Not necessarily. If you know the material and need to test it, the Q&A stands on its own. If the theory is rusty, the Complete Study System gives you Theory, Q&A and Flashcards together. It is a loop, not a line, so you can start wherever you are.
How is this different from the Flashcard Trainer?
They do different jobs. The Q&A is the diagnostic. Your first run through a module shows you exactly which topics are weak. The Flashcard Trainer is where you drill those gaps and keep them warm up to exam day. Most divers get the best return from a Q&A pass before they drill.
Can I use it offshore on my phone?
Yes. It runs in your phone browser.
How long do I get access?
12 months from the day you buy.
What if it is not for me?
You have 30 days. If it is not working for you, tell me and I will refund you in full. No questions.
